National Gateway Space Frame
DPM Structures partnered with Quality Fabrication to successfully complete a
turn-key Structural Design, Engineering, Fabrication, and Installation of a one-
of-a-kind cantilevered space frame for James G. Davis Construction and D.C.S.
Architecture. This exceptional space frame features a sloped, sweeping and
curved design supported by 24 unique webs protruding from 6 underside
columns giving it a “floating” appearance. When the building is complete, the
space frame will support a metal roof and glass walls for a new restaurant and
retail centerpiece located at the entrance to the sprawling 15 acre development
at Potomac Yard in Arlington, VA.
